If you are you a parent, a grandparent or have parenting experience and you could spare a few hours a week to support families with young children through a difficult time, contact the office for more information. All volunteers eceive support and training to prepare them for all aspects of their role with Home-start and out of pocket expenses will be paid
NEWS
Charity Event - November 2011
Hailey Scott, Home-Start Trustee organised a sports themed event with a disco, buffet and tombola in Overton Mains Community Centre which raised almost £650.
Preparation Course completed in December 2011.
We have pleasure in welcoming 7 new volunteers to Home-Start Kirkcaldy. The volunteers will soon be visiting families in their local communities.
Kingdom Kiddies
Families from the local nursery kindly donated Christmas presents to our scheme. Eleanor and Lorraine went along to collect them from some of the children who attend the nursery.
2011 Christmas Party
The party was held at The Connect Church in Kirkcaldy. The party is funded by the fundraising events and kind donations we receive throughout the year.
Exxon donation
In January 2012 Exxon kindly donated £590 to our scheme. We would like to thank them for their kind donation.
