We are currently recruiting a Family Support Worker.
Hours: 20 per week
Salary: NJC point 10-13 (£20,751-£22,021) pro rata
Purpose of the job:
To provide intensive practical and emotional support to families who are vulnerable and hard to reach.
Main Responsibilities
- visiting families in their own homes (as agreed with Co-ordinators) to offer one to one support
- encouraging and assisting families to access Home-Start Kirkcaldy’s family support group and creche
- assisting families to access other local services and attend appointments
- ensuring effective records are kept
