Accessibility by people with visual impairments and other disabilities is built into Digital Fife.
Features such as screenreader compatibility, user control of font size and contrast, the facility to read aloud pages and automatic translation ensure Digital Fife websites can be used by all.
Digital Fife websites consistently score highly on internationally recognised accessibility tests.
Our Trustees provide essential leadership, guidance and governance from their own professional or lived experiences. They also play an important role as ambassadors for our work and can offer particular skills (like human resources, information management or finance, for example). We welcome interest from those who can be passionate about our work with parents, children, families and the community.
The minimum commitment as a Trustee is attending our Board meetings which are currently every 6-8 weeks, with minutes/reports to read in between meetings. There are additional opportunities to become more involved by sitting on sub-committees or representing Home-Start Kirkcaldy in the wider community.
If you are interested in finding out more about the opportunity to join us, please contact us to arrange an informal chat with our Chairperson.
